Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been trying to get my house in order for company to come this weekend. So excited! This weekend we checked out a few new places Ruidoso and Cloudcroft. We were not to impressed with Ruidoso but we loved loved loved Cloudcroft. The weekend before we did some cool stuff in Las Cruces. I will post pics of these places later as well as some from around Nowhere, but for today...

So far..

Life has been full of boxes, boxes, and more boxes. Last night we were able to take a break and go to diner with so people from Josh's work. It was so nice to hangout with other people :) Here are some pictures of what has been going on so far. I will keep this more up to date now that we have Internet at home. :)

These first pictures are from the trip out here. We got to stop and see the Smith's in San Antonio.

The First Sat. we were here we went to several garage sales.

We got this piece for a steal at $15 and are sanding it down and painting it green. (Sorry Mom)

This was the other piece that we got for $60 with very little work needed. I love, love, love it.

The beautiful landscape.

Bailey with her cute bandanna

Still kind of a mess but this is the buffet which is across from the washer and dryer. In the back of the photo you can kind of see the kitchen cabinets and the door way on the right is into the dining room.

I will try to keep you more up dated and work on taking more pics of the house as it comes together.

We have been in Nowhere for five days now. We have felt in every moment that this is where God wants us to be right now. We have seen God work and began to understand what it means to say "in His time". We arrived late last Thursday evening, a day early. This allowed us to have our housing appointment on Friday instead of Monday. When we got to our appointment they told us they had a house available. Normally it takes a week to three weeks, but we have met people that it has taken much longer. We were able to move in a Friday nite. God is good. Saturday we went to some yard sales and bought a few pieces of furniture, that evening we went to a near by big city and ate at this fabulous restaraunt. I can't quite remember the name, but it was a pecan grill and brewery. Everything they served was locally grown and had the name of the farm that had grown it next to the food item. It was all so yummy. Sunday we tried First Baptist Church of Nowhere. We enjoyed it and think the pastor was both very nice and on point, however we were one of maybe two couples in our age group. We are going to try it again, and also try the chapel on base. Monday I ran errands while Josh went to work. Today I will run some more errands and hopefully get internet set up so I don't have to get wifi at mcdonalds all the time. Our stuff gets here tomorrow, another God thing. On a side not our phones have really bad to no interception in our house so if we don't answer we will call back when we see you have called. We will be getting a home phone to help with communication. We miss everyone. Please stay in touch with us on our big adventure. We we get Internet at home I will make our blog look pretty but till then it will be pretty plain. I will also add photos at that point of our house and such. Love you all.
